Alex and Allen | Boho Wedding | Virginia Wedding Photographer | Roanoke, VA | Second Shooter

I was thrilled when Rebecca Crosby Photography asked me join her for a little road trip to Roanoke to second shoot a gorgeous boho wedding with her! Becca and I initially met through our nursing careers as nurses on a Family Birthplace Unit. Then, years later, when I decided to take my love for photography and officially launch my photography business, Becca was there as a mentor. She answered my millions of questions to help me get it started, as she had been in business with photography for quite some time. We quickly became friends and now I consider her one of my very best friends. I am so thankful that we get to work together on a professional level, shooting weddings together. But, I also love that we set up play dates with our kiddos and have mama’s night out for Mexican and margaritas!

Alex and Allen’s wedding day had a gorgeous boho, vintage feel! I loved her long sleeved wedding gown, earrings, and bouquet! The Covid pandemic delayed their wedding date, and it was evident they used that extra time to plan all the little details that tied the entire day together so well!
