A Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Shoot | Lyndhurst, Virginia | Virginia Wedding Photographer

 

Nick + Erica’s blue ridge parkway engagement session was a dream!  We had so much fun exploring the fields of Hump Back Rocks and gorgeous mountain views at Raven’s Roost on Blue Ridge Parkway!  I know I take these breathtaking views for granted.  I’ve always lived in this area of Virginia, surrounded by beautiful mountains.  It was so nice to walk and talk with these two and really take in and enjoy the views! We even had some wildlife surprise us for a visit (check it out below)!

It was calling for rain, but we lucked out and the rain held off for us.  We even got some gorgeous sun glow, for a little extra romantic feel for their images!  These two were apparently born models, just look at them posing like pros and can we please talk about their outfit coordination?!  And don’t even get me started on Erica’s beautiful engagement ring!  Nick picked that beauty out ALL by himself and surprised Erica with a sweet proposal!  Honestly, I could not stop photographing it!

I’m just SO excited to be a part of their love story!  I cannot wait for their September wedding at Red August Farm!  September is such a beautiful time of the year! Maybe I’m a little biased, because my husband and I actually got married in September as well!  Outdoor farm weddings have got to be one of my favorites!  I’m really looking forward to witnessing these two marry!  The summer is going by so fast, their big day will be here before we know it!
