Nick and Erica’s Red August Farm wedding was nothing short of amazing and oh so beautiful! I honestly do not even know where to begin in describing their special day. The sun was shining, not a chance of rain from the sky. The bride was absolutely stunning in her two dresses, yes I said it, TWO gorgeous wedding gowns!!! Eeekkk!

September weddings are a favorite of mine, maybe because it’s the start of the beautiful fall weather that I adore, or maybe I’m just biased because my husband and I got married in September as well.  Either way, I had really been looking forward to their wedding day!  These two must have spent a great deal of time planning this gorgeous wedding! There were so many elegant details!  It took me quite some time to pick my favorite photographs to share with you on my blog!

This wedding was extra special for me because I actually went to high school with the lovely bride and her adorable maid of honor!! It was wonderful catching up and spending time with these two. In some ways, it was like we were back in high school again!  There I was, camera in hand, snapping photographs of all the good times and memories to last a lifetime! I guess some things never change!

Nick and Erica’s love for one another was undeniable! I must have teared up at least four times by the end of the ceremony! I literally got goosebumps editing their first look as the stunning bride walked down the aisle. The joyfulness, love, and excitement was palpable by everyone there to witness the moment. To put it simply, it was magical. I doubt there was a dry eye after these two were pronounced husband and wife. They were SO joyful.  It was an emotional day in the best way possible.

Let me just say there could not have been a better group of vendors for this luxurious wedding! My second shooter, Rebecca is a dear friend and so talented!  The venue was absolutely perfect!  Someone please tell me where was Red August Farm when I got married? A beautiful local farm with a bridal suite to die for!!  It was immediately put at the top of my favorite venues to shoot at it. Also, a little side note, Red August Farm was recently featured on a television show, Barnwood Builders.  They built the gorgeous chapel that Erica exited from to meet Nick at the end of the aisle!  Nick and Erica, I dare say you picked the best of the best! Everyone got along so well and the day just flowed so smoothly. It truly was a charming and joyful day.
