I love capturing motherhood and parenthood!  Maternity sessions are one of my favorites, because there’s so much joy and excitement to capture.  This session was extra special because these sweet parents already have a precious little one, Miss Ava, who is going to be an amazing big sister soon!  Ava rocked her family session, despite being woken up from a late afternoon nap.  She’s absolutely adorable, and I even got some smiles!

I felt like I instantly connected with this family.  Kristen is also a registered nurse, at the same hospital as I am, although we had never met each other until this session!  They are about to have two sweet babies, 2 years apart, just like my kiddos.  Kristen and Nick are so fun, patient and laid-back.  I really enjoyed spending time with them.
