Ashley and I were best friends all through high school, so of course when she asked me to photograph her wedding, of course I said, YES!! I’m so thankful for our friendship! We may not see each other as often as we would like these days, but we’re always able to pick right back up where we left off! Donavon is old family friend, who I haven’t seen in probably 10 years! And no, I actually did not introduce this sweet couple, even though I knew them both years ago! They met by chance one evening when Ashley was supposed to be working, and the rest is history! You know she found the man of her dreams, when her entire family claims they never thought she wanted to get married! Wait until you see the way these two look at each other!

Despite the chance of rain, we had a beautiful day and never saw a raindrop! Ashley’s gorgeous, romantic wedding dress; the joyful emotion felt throughout the day; and all the celebratory dancing are just a few of my favorite things about Ashley and Donavon’s big day!
