A Gorgeous Foggy Sunrise Maternity Session

Courtney and Alex’s sunrise maternity session was so much fun! I rarely get to shoot sunrise sessions, because I can never talk anyone into getting up before the sun with me. Haha! Luckily, Courtney and Alex are early birds most days anyway. Courtney enjoys taking Gryffin, their 2 year old pup, on early morning sunrise walks on a regular bases. So early morning adventures are already kind of their thing!

We met at 6:30 AM, for a sunrise time of 6:37. It was extremely foggy and too dark to shoot initially. That didn’t seem to bother them one bit! We got to hang out and chat while Gryffin ran around in a field as we waited for the fog to lift a little. The sun decided not to make an appearance during our shoot, but I’m obsessed with this foggy, romantic, dreamy feel we got instead!!

Courtney and Alex, thank you so much for being so carefree and laid-back! I appreciate your willingness to shoot some behind the scenes videos for me and patiently await the fog to lift to give us a little light! Ladies, get a man that looks at you the way Alex looks at Courtney! Just look at these images!! I can’t even with these two! And I’m beyond excited that Gryffin joined us, we got some great shots of big brother!

I cannot wait until November to meet Baby Pinelli!! I’m counting down the days until their newborn session!!
