The sun was still shining when I arrived at Red August Farm, but I had been stalking the weather all morning, and knew rain was headed our way. I knew Chelsea and Logan were hoping the rain would hold off, at least long enough to have their ceremony outside as planned. Either way, we all knew it would be a beautiful day, and it was. I was prepared either way. My second shooter and I arrived with a wagon full of clear umbrellas, rain coats, and all of our normal gear. We were ready for whatever the weather brought us. Luckily, all we got was some drizzling rain during the ceremony.
Chelsea and Logan’s wedding ceremony was so sweet. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when they tied the Cord of Three Strands, God’s knot. It was such a beautiful way to symbolize that sacred union created on their wedding day. The love these two have for one another was evident throughout the day. There was so much excitement, just check out those just married photos!
Enjoy my favorites!
