Cassie and Stirling had the most beautiful, colorful Charlottesville Winery Wedding. Nestled in the rural area of Southern Albemarle County, VA, Cassie and Stirling’s wedding day began at the historic Woodville Bed & Breakfast. They got ready and shared an intimate first look together before heading over to Thatch Winery for the ceremony and reception that followed.

It’s hard to narrow down my favorite parts of their wedding day, but I’d have to say it was an absolute privilege to witness the sweet little moments of their first look together. Cassie is a timeless beauty who choose details to stand the test of time. Her love of florals, lead her to choose pops of color, to celebrate her summer wedding.

The couple had a live string band, for the entire wedding celebration. They began playing beneath the historic branches on cobblestone pavers as guests arrived at Thatch Winery to witness Cassie and Stirling say, “I do.” The charming garden was intimate in size, and held just the couple with their nearest and dearest family and friends. The couple’s adorable pups, April and Bailey, were incorporated into their beautiful ceremony. They had the most perfect floral collars on as they trotted down the aisle! The couple’s family and friends celebrated the just married excitement with a unique wildflower seed toss for the couples ceremony recessional.

Slate blue linens, stunning floral designs with bright, vibrant pops of color, and luxury place settings made a stunning reception space in the Loft at Thatch Winery. It was rustic elegance and romance galore!

The love these have for one another was so evident on their wedding day. The magical day came to an end with beautiful golden hour light for some bride and groom sunset portraits in the field under baby blue skies.
