Fall Foliage Family Portraits | Blue Ridge Parkway | Virginia Portrait Photographer

This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting the Stout family to capture some fall foliage family portraits. We met at the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center and continued on to Raven’s Roost Overlook on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. I always get excited when clients choose this location because it is one of my favorites spots! The rolling mountain views with the vibrant fall foliage colors was absolutely stunning! It was the perfect location to capture fall foliage memories and portraits for this lovely family!

We’re finally getting some fall weather, although it felt like it went from 90 degrees to 50 degrees overnight in Virginia! It was a gorgeous afternoon, but it was a little cool and windy at times. These adorable girls, Katie and Ellie, were absolute troopers! They had a busy morning of soccer, but still had plenty of energy and enthusiasm left for me! I didn’t have to work for a single smile, they just gave them away! In fact, I believe Katie and Ellie are quite the little models! I think you’ll agree! I had a great time getting to know them and their sweet parents!
